In this global pause, we are finding our breath. We are presented with the opportunity to unpack white supremacist work culture, so that we can build new pathways for being. We as SHIFT are exploring this new time of operating in different modes, we want to invite folks into our conversation and processes.
Through collective learning, we will explore tools, writing prompts, modules, and art practices drawn from Non-violent Communication by Meenadchi, Do Less by Kate Northrup, and groups like The Nap Ministry. Shift will facilitate ways to examine the way we design our work and lifestyle culture to better integrate values of gentle rest as a form of resistance. What a time, and gift, to re-examine our own relationships to work and the racial justice of ourselves.
