National Coalition of 100 Black Women in San Francisco Weekend

 Textural Rhythms,
 curated by Dr. Carolyn Mazloomi, Founder  and Coordinator of The Women 
of Color Quilters Network unites two of the  most well known and popular
 artistic forms in African American culture,  jazz and quilts. The 
exhibition includes work from some of America's  best known African 
American quilters, Michael Cummings, Edjohnetta  Miller, Tina Brewer, 
and Jim Smoote as well as quilts by top Bay Area  quilters, Marion 
Coleman and Alice M. Beasley.   Support for the exhibition and accompanying programs was received from Morgan
  Stanley Smith Barney, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati Foundation,
  The St. Regis San Francisco, and Alliance for California Traditional  
Arts Agency. MoAD receives ongoing support from the San  
Francisco Redevelopment Agency, foundations, corporations and

Cortes of "Forever Tango" fame. 
 |   Relations maven at the top of her  game. Her  
Gucci glasses and Louis Vuitton bag are all real enough, but  Undine's  
life is a fabrication. 
 
  It all unravels when her Argentine   
husband embezzles all of her money and suddenly disappears, leaving her 
  pregnant and penniless. Undine has no choice but to return to her   
childhood home in Brooklyn's Walt Whitman Projects, where her journey of
