Wright Enterprises' Jackie Wright shares her experience at UGA and why Pamoja was a lifeline for students. She began her matriculation at the Unviersity of Georgia a decade after Hamilton Holmes and Charlyne Hunter-Gault in 1961 integrated the University of Georgia. Wright's educational trajectory was not similar to most students and the arts of Pamoja & BTE, (Black Theatrical Ensemble founded by Larry Calhoun), a sister organization of Pamoja, were an inspiration. https://youtu.be/fb5iVDTzq20.

Mayor London N. Breed joined State Senator Scott Wiener to announce legislation to combat fencing, the sale of stolen goods on City streets. Authored by Senator Wiener and sponsored by Mayor Breed, Senate Bill 925 (SB 925) would allow San Francisco to create permitting requirements to regulate the sale of items commonly obtained through retail theft and impose criminal penalties for those who engage in this practice.
