Breed and City Librarian Michael Lambert today announced that San Francisco Public Library (SFPL) will reopen 11 neighborhood branches for full in-person service by August 17, beginning today with the Park and West Portal locations. After the Labor Day holiday, the Main Library will also resume its pre-pandemic hours, providing evening service three days a week.
