Regrettably I see this post July 29, 2016 after the fact, but it is one of which we all should be aware. The hearings were July 24, 2016. San Francisco Black Film Festival News Conference and Screening of "Restored Me" invites media and public to AMC 14, 1000 Van Ness in San Francisco with news of the overall festival to include Opening Night at SF State School of Cinema's "Coppola Theatre" on Thursday featuring "Cassius Ali" and "Lambadina" along with delicious Ethiopian fare from "Shoulder Dancing." Following the news conference "Restored Me" will be screened with filmmakers in attendance for media and the public to meet.

San Francisco Black Film Festival holds its news conference 6:30 p.m. at AMC 14 @1000 Van Ness preceding the Sneak Preview of "Restored-Me. " The film is about wrongfully accused Julio Velasquez, a Black and Puerto Rican young man played by Giovanni Watson, who fights to keep from being another recidivism statistics. Media have been invited to hear about the overall festival and stay for the sneak preview.

Bochetto and produced by Dan Pastewka, has never before seen footage of Ali's childhood home in Louisville as brother Rahaman Ali and others share intimate moments in the life of the iconic champion, "The Greatest."
