"Yes, W.E. Can!"
her motto before President Barack Obama

Now's the time to join BNI. In these economic times, wouldn't it help to have a group of people working on your behalf as a special sales force. According to the members and leadership of BNI, it does just that. The Delta and Antioch clubs of BNI held a joint new members breakfast meeting at The Lone Tree Golf and Event Center. The BNI event kick started a about three hundred people's day with some good news about moving business forward in spite of today's economics.

According to BNI's website:

Belonging to BNI is like having dozens of sales people working for you...

...because all of them carry several copies of your business cards around with them. When they meet someone who could use your products or services, they take out your card and recommend you.* It's as simple as that! It's simple because it's based on a proven concept by BNI Founder, Dr. Ivan Misner, called "Givers Gain." If I give you business you'll give me business and we'll both benefit as a result.

Last year alone, members of BNI passed 5.6 million referrals...which generated over $2.3 billion dollars (U.S.) worth of business for its members! BNI is a business and professional networking organization that allows only one person per professional classification or specialty to join a chapter.

During the meeting the Antioch and Delta BNI chapters reported that close to $700,000 in business had been generated as the result of referrals. One of the uniques aspects of BNI is that only one person per field can be a part of a chapter, for instance only one plumbing business, florist, doctor, lawyer, etc. According to BNI that gives each business leverage without competetion within the group.
