(Los
Angeles, CA) - You've seen his face on film and television for over two
decades. He's Big Mike on NBC's Chuck and has quite the cult following
from his comical performance as "Mix Master Tone-Def" in the film
spoof, In Fear of the Black Hat. And whether it's on Heroes, Planet of
the Apes, or That Darn Cat, Garfield, over the years, Mark Christopher Lawrence has earned the street cred and staying power in this thing we call "showbiz".
But
Mark Christopher Lawrence isn't only an actor. He is a writer; producer
and founder of the production company Prayer Dudz, which hosts the
annual SHOUT! live gospel comedy show in Napa Valley. The event is held
in California's wine country every year to bring performers, celebrities
and charities together in order to promote good will and clean comedy
fun. This year, producers selected Becoming Independent and New Life
Outreach as beneficiaries and each charity will receive a percentage of
the ticket sales, VIP meet and greets with the celebrity guests and
complimentary seating.
"Sure, we all like to have a good
time, but now more than ever, we need to band together and help
non-profit organizations financially," said Mark Christopher Lawrence,
host and founder of SHOUT! The Second Coming. "We're selling tickets so
we can support two very important charities and we need Napa Valley
residents to come out and help us, help each other."
