The event was held at the historic Third Baptist Church which is pastored by Reverend Dr. Amos Brown and included filmmakers Bill Guttentag and Dan Sturman and producer Gina Harrell.

Soundtrack for a Revolution was screened after the reception in Glover's honor in which he received a City of San Francisco Certificate of Honor presented by San Francisco Public Defender Jeff Adachi on behalf of sponsoring Supervisors Sophie Maxwell and Ross Mirkarimi.  HE also received the LaHitz Media Sojourner Truth Award (by artist Eugene White). Special Thanks to AARP-California, Brassfield Estate Winery, Lynnette and Eugene White, Shabaka Henley, GSA Communications, The INTERCONTINENTAL SANFRANCISCO, Oakland International Film Festival, Waymon Olivier, Roland Washington and KPOO, Gerry Dove, Clear Channel, Agape Limousine Service, Jacqueline Brown and Company and all who made the event a success!

Congratulations to the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Civic committee for a successful event honoring Dr. King and his legacy with U.S. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and San Francisco District Attorney Kamala Harris.  More than 500 people gathered for the breakfast to honor community leaders and hear the powerful presentations by Pelosi and Harris on Monday January 18, 2010.
