BayKids Moviemaker Premiere

 

 

Roll out the red carpet! BayKids is recognizing our talented young moviemakers from UCSF Children's hospital. Please join UCSF as they celebrate their kids' accomplishments and view their work at our premiere and film festival!

 

On Sunday, March 21, 2010 BayKids and UCSF Children's Hospital is recognizing talented young moviemakers. They will be featuring a variety of movies, from entertaining action adventures to compelling documentaries. All of their movie productions are kid directed and produced. They  hope you can join them to help celebrate their talented young moviemakers!

Parking:

Parking is available in the new Music Concourse Garage.

Hours and rates:

Weekends 7:30 a.m.-10 p.m. ($3.00/hour)

 

Admission:

The Premiere is free and does not include admission to the museum.

 

Accessibility:

The de Young is accessible to wheelchair users. For performance is in the Koret Auditorium, assistive listening devices can be obtained from the theater technicians. Sign-language interpretation is provided with two weeks' notice.

BayKids, in partnership with local hospitals, provides children a creative outlet through the art of filmmaking. Their programs provide a vehicle for creative self-expression, a means to learn new skills, and a venue through which children faced with serious medical challenges can tell their personal stories.

Authored by Senator Wiener and sponsored by Mayor Breed, Senate Bill 925 (SB 925) would allow San Francisco to create permitting requirements to regulate the sale of items commonly obtained through retail theft and impose criminal penalties for those who engage in this practice.
