"King Tut" Live Performance Directed by Farah Dews

The Historic Bayview House today announced the theatrical performance of King Tut: The Boy Who Would Be King will open Friday March 26, and run through Sunday March 28, 2010 at the Bayview Opera House 4705 Third Street, San Francisco, CA 415-824-0386.

Farah Dews, who wrote, choreographed, and directed the production which will feature  a cast that is renowned to Bay Area Community Theaters. This hour and half presentation exposes a critical period of King Tut 's coronation and the progression that reveals the identity of Tut's parents and the induction of his reign as a military, religious and political leader.

Admission is $15 for adults, $9 for seniors, and $6 for children ages 5 to 12. For tickets, special group rates and information call Mick Gardner; 510-789-6110 or Bayview Opera House; 415-824-0386. 

NOTE: There are a 3:00pm Matinée and 8pm Supper performance on Saturday and Sunday at 3:00pm after Church Services Matinée. The Friday opening performance is 8pm.

Authored by Senator Wiener and sponsored by Mayor Breed, Senate Bill 925 (SB 925) would allow San Francisco to create permitting requirements to regulate the sale of items commonly obtained through retail theft and impose criminal penalties for those who engage in this practice.
