DON'T FORGET RAMA

You may recall the stories of Rama Diop, A Senegalese woman fighting for her bi-racial child with no resources but her wits against a millionaire Marinite who not only has money but privilege steeped in the closed circle of Marin County wealth:

AOC & Marin Court
Crimes Protest

Dear Friend,

Last call for participants!

Parents, advocates and others supporting or working for court reform are invited to drop what they are doing and attend the October 12 protest and press conference at the Marin County Courthouse. The word is out about Tuesday and reporters are biting!

This is your chance to stand up and be counted!

Concerned parents and advocates worked for years to urge the California legislature to investigate the travesties taking place in California's family courts. There is little regulation and oversight, and good parents are losing their children and being bankrupted in the process.

In June of 2009 the Joint Legislative Audit Committee (JLAC) voted unanimously to audit two of the most historically problematic family courts, namely those in Marin and Sacramento.

Less than three months later, the Marin Family Court, with the written permission of the Administrative Office of the Courts, undermined the legislative audit by engaging in the wholesale destruction of important and incriminating child custody evidence. The Marin Court and the AOC colluded in this destruction, while simultaneously blocking the state auditor's access to family court files and personnel.

The Center for Judicial Excellence, JusticeCalifornia, and the California Protective Parents Association and many others all worked extraordinarily hard to obtain the audit, and are currently working extraordinarily hard to obtain criminal accountability for those members of the Administrative Office of the Courts and Marin Superior Court who colluded to destroy incriminating child custody evidence in the midst of a state investigation and ongoing child custody cases.

The time is now for fathers and mothers and their supporters to unite to demand accountability from those wreaking havoc and bankrupting California families-with no effective oversight whatsoever.

If you are afraid of retaliation-wear a disguise. But do show up. Stand up. Be counted. Be heard!

Join us!

Be sure to come to San Rafael on October 12th, and bring 5 friends with you. Thank you for your continued activism and support!
