Good Tasting News: Taste of the Bay-SFSU

Welcome to Taste of the Bay 2010

You are invited to sample delectable creations from many different Bay Area restaurants. Choice selections of local California-grown wines will be available, as well as students providing excellent hospitality and service to accompany your delectable food.

Arranged in a cocktail party style, Taste of the Bay features renowned chefs and fabulous wineries from around the Bay Area. Additionally, we will hold a live auction, silent auction, and raffle drawing of in-kind donations.

The Hospitality and Tourism Management Program and the hospitality students at San Francisco State University invite you to participate in Taste of the Bay 2010, an event to raise funds for scholarships and program needs for the industry's future leaders.

The Event

Tuesday, October 19, 2010
6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
San Francisco Belle at Hornblower Landing, Pier 3
San Francisco, CA 94133

This will be a dockside event.

Location

Located at the beautiful San Francisco Belle at Hornblower Landing, Pier 3, the evening will be filled with culinary creations from fine Bay Area restaurants matched with world-renowned wines from Northern California's vineyards. Your experience includes live/silent auctions, and live music.

Breed joined State Senator Scott Wiener to announce legislation to combat fencing, the sale of stolen goods on City streets. Authored by Senator Wiener and sponsored by Mayor Breed, Senate Bill 925 (SB 925) would allow San Francisco to create permitting requirements to regulate the sale of items commonly obtained through retail theft and impose criminal penalties for those who engage in this practice.
