If the women in Tyler Perry's "For Colored Girls" had read Dr. Brenda Wade's new book or practiced her secrets for lasting love, the film would have had quite a different story.

Love and Money, formidable forces in any relationship can make the difference between that "thin line between love and hate" and  "the love of money."  "What's it all about, Alfie and everyone else?"  Dr. Brenda has something to say that can help!

Divorce in America is an epidemic that has gone "viral."
Family and relationship expert, Brenda Wade, Ph.D., connects the dots between the many ills facing America today with the high 51 per cent divorce rate that costs an estimated $325 billion dollars a year including health, economic and workplace losses, and has a devastating impact on children.

Known as America's Love Doctor on The Oprah Show, CNN, the NBC Today Show,  Dr. Brenda hosted the nationally-syndicated television program, Can This Marriage Be Saved? and is the host of Black Renaissance on the CW in the San Francisco Bay Area.   She is  also the author of the recently released book, 99 Things You Wish You Knew Before Falling in Love.

According to Dr. Brenda, the current 51 percent U.S. divorce rate would significantly drop to 17 percent if couples received premarital counseling.  Research shows that the 17 percent would become only 8.5 per cent if couples hitting snags later in the relationship used additional relationship coaching.

"In these economic times, it's more important than ever to fortify your relationship skills because money is the number one conflict in relationships," says Dr. Brenda.

To further her mission to cut America's divorce rate in half by the end of 2015 and kck-off to her five year campaign, Dr. Brenda founded The International Love, Money & Seva Summit (loveandmoneysummit.com). Taking place at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis December 9-12, 2010, Summit participants will leave with four proven cures everyone should know based on current studies: love and money insight, skills, behavior and maintenance.

They will also gain valuable skills from world-class love & money experts, including award-winning CNN business journalist Valerie Coleman Morris, founder of Homes.com Ernie Blood, Glinda Bridgforth from Oprah's "America's Debt Diet," and Sandra and Kym Yancey, founders of the national eWomen Network, among many others.  The Secrets to Love & Money, a film based on the Summit, will also be shot on-location and produced by Valerie Scoon, former vice president of Harpo Films.
