Mayor Welcomes City Residents to City Hall Open House San Francisco to Open City Hall Doors to Public on Sunday, December 12th from 2 - 5 p.m. with Holiday Snow Park, Mobile Zoo & Other Family Activities in Civic Center Plaza

Mayor Gavin Newsom and First Lady Jennifer Siebel Newsom today announced that City Hall will open its doors and offices to the public for the first-ever City Hall Holiday Open House on Sunday, December 12 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. Civic Center Plaza will also host families activities this Sunday, including a first-ever children's snow park and a mobile zoo.

"The holidays are a time for family and friends to gather in celebration of all we have to be thankful for and the new year ahead," said Mayor Newsom. "This Sunday, Jennifer and I want to invite families from across the City to join us at City Hall in honor of the season at our Holiday Open House." Read more.

Breed joined State Senator Scott Wiener to announce legislation to combat fencing, the sale of stolen goods on City streets. Authored by Senator Wiener and sponsored by Mayor Breed, Senate Bill 925 (SB 925) would allow San Francisco to create permitting requirements to regulate the sale of items commonly obtained through retail theft and impose criminal penalties for those who engage in this practice.
