ALLSTAR LINEUP SLATED FOR THE

12TH ANNUAL GBC-GIVING BACK CORPORATION TOAST/ROAST

TO HONOR LIVING LEGENDS TED LANGE AND BARBARA MONTGOMERY

 

 

 

 

 Hollywood.....On Saturday, April 30, 2011, Ken Sagoes and his GBC-Giving Back Corporation will present the 12th Annual Toast/Roast Celebration honoring living legends, Barbara Montgomery and Ted Lange.

 

The event will take place at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel (formerly Radisson Hotel LA Westside) located at 6161 W. Centinela Avenue, Culver City, CA  90203 inside the Pacifica Ballroom on the 2nd Level.  Red Carpet arrivals are from 5:00pm-6:00pm; with the event beginning at 6:00pm.

 

The event will be hosted by actor Tommy Ford ("Bill Bellamy's, Who's Got Jokes") and actress Dawnn Lewis ("Dreamgirls"). A few of the celebrity guests scheduled to attend and participate in this year's event include Loretta Devine ("Jumping the Broom", "Madea's Big Happy Family"), Hattie Winston ("Castle", "Becker" ), Chrystee Pharris ("Scrubs"/"My Girlfriend's Back"), (Robert Pine ("Lakeview Terrace", "CHIPS"), (Glynn Turman ("The Defenders"). Past honorees that will be attendance to pay tribute include Marla Gibbs ("The Heart Specialist", "227" ), Hal Williams ("Guess Who", "227"), Della Reese (Entertainer), Nichelle Nichols ("Star Trek"), Bill Cobbs ("Night at the Museum"), Dick Anthony Williams ("The Shield") among others.  There will also be a performance by jazz saxophonist Jesse Mitchell and other special surprise celebrity guests.

Actor, Writer and Director Ken Sagoes has been in the entertainment industry for over 30 years.   In 1997, he decided to create GBC-Giving Back Corporation, a non-profit organization to support today's youth for the future.  So it was only fitting to honor those that had paved the way for today's actors - hence was born, the Annual Toast/Roast Celebration, celebrating, acknowledging and paying homage to those actors and entertainers that have come before and are considering 'Living Legends'.
