For
over 20 years the Silicon Valley Black Chamber of Commerce (SVBCC) has
led the way in creating innovative programs and events designed
to economically empower groups and individuals from all walks of life.
As we continue our pursuit of improving the lives of our community, we
offer the Next Gen Business Academy empowering our youth to become the next generation in business professionals.
The Next Gen Business Academy
targets High school youth of all ethnicities. Our goal is to help
produce the next generation of "business minds" by laying down a solid
foundation from which they can build and be successful.
Each
year the SVBCC hosts the "Greens and Hot Links" Fundraiser Golf
Tournament. The SVBCC hosts an awards banquet for the students of the
business academy as well as award "start-up" funding to students to help
get their businesses off the ground.
It's support
that helps young entrepreneurs get their first start at real world
business. So come out and join us. We welcome "young" and "old" professionals to beginners. You are all welcome!
