PROJECT1VOICE is a national grassroots movement designed to cultivate artistic excellence, creativity, and innovation among African-American theatre organizations, along with preserving their legacies and those of African-American playwrights. These theatres remain at the forefront of developing and sustaining African-American playwrights, directors, actors and other theater professionals. PROJECT1VOICE brings attention and assistance to these mainstays of employment for theatre artists of color.

Breed joined State Senator Scott Wiener to announce legislation to combat fencing, the sale of stolen goods on City streets. Authored by Senator Wiener and sponsored by Mayor Breed, Senate Bill 925 (SB 925) would allow San Francisco to create permitting requirements to regulate the sale of items commonly obtained through retail theft and impose criminal penalties for those who engage in this practice.
