Animation
September 12 - December 7

Mondays & Wednesdays

4:30-6:30pm

Create your own animated short film! You will use use traditional hand drawing skills along with Adobe Flash and sound editing software to learn everything you need to know about the production & process of creating an animated short in a professional environment. Final films will be included in the episode of "Zoom In" in collaboration with the Digital Filmmaking class.

 

Filmmaking
September 13 - December 7

Tuesdays & Thursdays

4:30-6:30pm

Create and produce your own TV show! Broadcast your ideas about your community and your world. Learn camera skills, screenwriting, editing, and interview skills, as well as basic audio & video software. Young producers will  work as a crew to create episode 22 of BAYCAT's award-winning youth created TV show Zoom In.

Breed joined State Senator Scott Wiener to announce legislation to combat fencing, the sale of stolen goods on City streets. Authored by Senator Wiener and sponsored by Mayor Breed, Senate Bill 925 (SB 925) would allow San Francisco to create permitting requirements to regulate the sale of items commonly obtained through retail theft and impose criminal penalties for those who engage in this practice.
