ADILAH APPEARS IN NBC'S NEW SERIES, "PRIME SUSPECT"

Adilah will appear in NBC's new series, Prime Suspect. This "re-imagining" of the popular British show, premieres on Thursday, September 22, 2011.  The episode that includes Adilah is slated to air on September 29th. She will play therapist, Dr. Joanna Sykes.

Said Adilah about this role, "The sensibilities of Dr. Sykes are not my own. With some roles, an actor is challenged when the choice must be to justify, rather than judge a character. This is one such portrayal."

ADILAH DIRECTS SIMCHAH SARATH IN HER SOLO SHOW, "BEHIND A SMILE"

Actor Simchah Sarath in her solo show, Behind a Smile

St. Louis, Missouri-based actor Simchah Sarath recently spent a week in North Hollywood, CA this month to have her one-woman show, Behind a Smile, re-directed by Adilah. Simchah's play has previously been performed at the Kranzberg Arts Center and Legacy Books in St. Louis. She is now gearing up for performances at festivals and the college circuit.

A bold play that takes a sobering look at Simchah's beloved father who fell prey to crack cocaine, her former marriage and her subsequent search for Mr. Right. This spirited show allows Simchah to utilize her "triple threat" chops as an actor, singer and dancer.

Says Simchah about her work,

"It is my intent for audiences members to walk away with a sense of hope, courage, love and forgiveness... by knowing that no matter how large the obstacles or lessons, all things are possible with The Most High.

Says Adilah about directing Simchah, "Not only does Simchah honestly deal with the subjects of her love for her father, drug addiction and male relationships in her writing, she is a joy to watch in performance on stage. Talented and energetic, her ability to assimilate direction quickly is amazing."

Best wishes to Simchah as she moves forward with her inspirational solo show, Behind a Smile!
