Ricardo Scales Birthday Party

Jackie Wright, Ricardo Scales, Joan Foggy, Jacquie Taliaferro

Dear Friends,

It all started at virtuoso pianist Ricardo Scales' birthday bash at the Top of the Mark, August 17, the day after my birthday...Hey why not celebrate the rest of the month.. Singer Lea Sweet also had her birthday celebration in August...So why not have our cake and eat it too. I Jumped at the opportunity to end August with a Blast and promote the new location of the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre & talk about season tickets.  Before we get into the fun details...consider this... The Lorraine Hansberry Theatre-It's Multicultural!  It's Entertaining!  It's Educational!  It's an Artistic & Vocational Pathway for our Youth!

Ruby Dee, Peter Coyote, Shabaka Henley, and Danny Glover are just a few of the great talents that have graced The Lorraine Hansberry Theatre stage. The new home of The Lorraine Hansberry Theatre is something of which the entire Bay Area can be proud. Kudos to Al Dixon and the LHT Board, Shirley Howard Johnson, General Manager and Steven Anthony Jones, Artistic Director for the new and exciting beginnings at The Lorraine Hansberry Theatre. Special thanks to my business colleague, Jacquie Taliaferro for helping me host the event at the fabulous new Lorraine Hansberry Theatre home.

Celebrate good times!  Come on!  It's a celebration at the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre!

See you there!

Jackie
