Belva Davis to Moderate Rainbow P.U.S.H Candidates' Forum 10/21
The San Francisco Bay
Area Rainbow PUSH Coalition will hold its second annual Candidate's
Forum to give voters to get an opportunity to hear from candidates for
Mayor, District attorney and Sheriff of San Francisco. Veteran award-winning journalist Belva Davis will moderate the forum. The public is
invited to Calvary Hill Community Church, 141 Industrial Street in San
Francisco, CA 94124, 6 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Confirmed participants to date include: Sherriff's candidates: Chris Cunnie, Ross Mirkarimi, and Paul Miyamoto;District Attorney candidates: Sharmin Bock, Bill Fazio, and Trinh Vu Vuong; Mayoral candidates: Jeff Adachi, Michela
Alioto-PierMayor, Cesar Ascarrunz, John Avalos,Terry Joan Baum, David Chiu, Paul
Currier, Dennis Herrera, Emil Lawrence,Wilma Pang,Joanna Rees,Phil Teng, and Leland Yee.

Mayor Willie L. Brown Jr., and his regular Le Central lunch partners:
haberdasher Wilkes Bashford and philanthropist Harry De Wildt have
agreed to have a power lunch to benefit San Francisco State University's
Hospitality and Tourism Department. Kelly Armstrong, an Advisory Board
member since 2002 with SFSU's Hospitality Management and Tourism
Department, persuaded the three friends to allow a luncheon with them to
be auctioned off to raise money during the university's 15th Annual
Fundraiser "Taste of the Bay " October 26, 2011. Le Central's owner;
Paul Tanphanich agreed to donate the lunch.
"This is such a great
opportunity for students like myself to interact with political and
community powerbrokers like Mayor Brown, Wilkes Bashford and Harry De
Wildt ," said Helen de Bos, Event Chair. "We hope people will come out
and support the "Taste of the Bay" and get a bidding war started all for

Merritt College and the Martin Luther King Jr Freedom Center, brings
