Reverend Roland Gordon, Pastor Ingleside Presbyterian Church
Reverend Roland Gordon Invites You to Ingleside Presbyterian Church Theater Night at the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre 12/22/11
Dear Friends,
As we celebrate the Christmas Season, gathering
with family and friends, we of Ingleside Presbyterian Church ask you to
join us as we support the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre in their new home,
"our home for the arts," 450 Post Street.
We congratulate General
Manager Shirley Howard Johnson, who working with the board provided
leadership with sold-out productions of "Joyful Noise" and "Fabulation;"
keeping the fire in the hearth, after the untimely deaths last year of
highly respected founders of the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre, Quentin
Easter and Stanley Williams. We commend the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre
for its new vision as Steven Anthony Jones is now Artistic Director,
leading the 31st season of the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre.
Bring
family and friends to see "Rejoice," the musical retelling of the
Christmas Story, a world premiere by Ron Stacker Thompson, founder of
the Oakland Ensemble Theater.
Magi in "Rejoice": Terry Stanley, Luther Michael Spratt & Rudy Guerreroas
Tickets are discounted $37 for adults and $28 for students for The special Ingleside Presbyterian Church Theater Night. Call the box office at 415 474-8800 or visit www.lhtsf.org with code "JOY." This special rate is only for Ingleside members and our friends. Remember to use the promo code "JOY."
Let's
support the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre, now in its new home, 450 Post
Street in the Heart of Union Square. We are proud of their
accomplishments. We call all our old and new friends to join us.

Mayor London N. Breed joined State Senator Scott Wiener to announce legislation to combat fencing, the sale of stolen goods on City streets. Authored by Senator Wiener and sponsored by Mayor Breed, Senate Bill 925 (SB 925) would allow San Francisco to create permitting requirements to regulate the sale of items commonly obtained through retail theft and impose criminal penalties for those who engage in this practice.
