Dear Friends and Subscribers:

Lorraine Hansberry Theatre is pleased to team with michaelD.communications, VISA and Foley & Lardner LLP to bring you an opportunity to meet and learn about the Tuskegee Airmen.

The evening will begin with a special FREE screening of the Lucasfilm Ltd. documentary Double Victory, which spotlights the historic role of the Tuskegee Airmen during World War II, revealing the ways these pioneering African Americans bravely fought a war on two fronts: fascism abroad and racial injustice and inequality at home. Double Victory is being presented by Lorraine Hansberry Theatre as part of the Double Victory Museum Tour, organized by Lucasfilm Ltd. and made available to museums and arts organizations across the country. Another highlight of the evening is the panel discussion that follows the screening, featuring members of the Tuskegee Airmen, moderated by veteran TV news personality, Barbara Rodgers.

A special VIP Reception will follow, including opportunities for photos and autographs with the Tuskegee Airmen.

Double Victory (60 min) is the companion documentary to Lucasfilmʼs Red Tails, the epic action-packed film inspired by the heroics of the Tuskegee Airmen, the first all African American aerial combat unit, released in January. The screening and panel discussion are part of the Double Victory Museum Tour, which also includes an Education Guide and Faith Study Guide (visit www.teamredtails.com for more information).

ADMISSION IS FREE: CLICK HERE TO RSVP
