Save the Date for the San Francisco Conservation Corps--May 8, 2012

Please save the date for an evening reception on Thursday, May 8, 2012 from 6:00-8:30 pm at the historic San Francisco War Memorial & Performing Arts Center's Green Room.

The San Francisco Conservation Corps is celebrating "The Future. Hard at Work," a tribute to 29 years of steadfast work on behalf of San Francisco's young people.

Authored by Senator Wiener and sponsored by Mayor Breed, Senate Bill 925 (SB 925) would allow San Francisco to create permitting requirements to regulate the sale of items commonly obtained through retail theft and impose criminal penalties for those who engage in this practice.
