Calvary Hill Community Church Celebrates Dr. Joseph and First Lady Kelly Bryant
March 14, 2012

There is good news happening in the Bayview Hunters' Point District of San Francisco.  An example of that good news, that goodness, is the work of Dr. Joseph Bryant Jr. and Lady Kelly Bryant.  Calvary Hill Community Church is celebrating 16 years of their excellent service that extends beyond the walls of Calvary Hill Community Church and San Francisco.  Join Calvary Hill Community Church  for the 16th Appreciation Celebration on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Calvary Hill Community Church, 141 Industrial Street in recognition of their service.

From bringing information to fight and avoid foreclosures, to educating children with the Vision Academy After School Program, to providing a fitness center, to partnering with local hospitals for nutritional and well-being programs, Dr. and Mrs. Bryant's service goes beyond the 1,500 plus congregation that they serve.

The 16th Appreciation Celebration is themed "Labor of Love."  "Sixteen" in the biblical context means "love," so it is appropriate and in order that we so theme our appreciation "Labor of Love" as Dr. Bryant and Lady Kelly have toiled with a "Labor of Love." From visiting the sick, counseling community members and community leaders, feeding the less fortunate and bringing smiles to children during Christmas, this talented young couple is "being the change they want to see.

Delivering the message for the 8:00 a.m. service will be Pastor Martin Peters of Victory Baptist Church in Oakland; for the 10:00 a.m. service it will be Bishop Charles Dickerson, State Bishop for California's Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship, Pastor of Pearly Grove Baptist Church in Fresno; and at 12 noon completing the celebration will be Pastor Chris Williams of
Harvest Fellowship in Oakland.

Special Notice**** In advance of the 16th Appreciation Anniversary on Saturday, March 24, Calvary Gifts and Books, opens to the public from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.  The special launch of the store will include local authors.  Be inspired with a good book and just the right gift for that special occasion. Reverend Timothy Dews will be on hand with more good news about "Calvary Gifts and Books," a much needed resource given there are no longer any Christian bookstores in San Francisco.
