Time for an EBHO Happy Hour: Wednesday, April 18!

Miss your old friends, want to brainstorm with allies? Join us for a networking and refreshments, whether you're coming down from the Housing California conference or ramping up for Affordable Housing Week (or both, like us at EBHO). We are hosting an April happy hour in downtown Oakland at our old haunt, Pacific Coast Brewery. We will also welcome Jean Cohen, our new Director of Resident and Community Organizing, into the EBHO community.

Breed joined State Senator Scott Wiener to announce legislation to combat fencing, the sale of stolen goods on City streets. Authored by Senator Wiener and sponsored by Mayor Breed, Senate Bill 925 (SB 925) would allow San Francisco to create permitting requirements to regulate the sale of items commonly obtained through retail theft and impose criminal penalties for those who engage in this practice.
