"Ron Daniels is a freedom fighter. His courageous and dedicated work for justice and relief for our beloved but tortured country of Haiti has been indispensable to our understanding of the issues impacting the nation and commitment of support. There are things so special about Dr. Daniels-his brilliance, tenacity and love-that bring out the best in us. It's not at all surprising that in celebrating his 70th birthday he has trained the lens on his justice work and not on himself."
