OAKLAND, CA-Oakland's highly-anticipated 2012 Bay Area Black Expo,
presented by Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, will be held Saturday and
Sunday, September 8-9th at the Oakland Convention Center, 550 10th
Street, downtown Oakland, CA. For two impactful days Bay Area Black
Expo, LLC will host a dynamic, enlightening multicultural marketplace
to engage community residents and people who travel great distances to
make the Bay Area Black Expo an annual weekend destination.

Included among the Expo's many interesting, educational and
entertaining offerings, the event's Title Sponsor Wells Fargo Home
Mortgage will present three one-hour celebrity interview and Q&A
segments titled "Inside the Artist Studio." Members of the Bay Area
Black Journalists Association (BABJA) will conduct the following

In addition to "Inside the Artist Studio," the spectacular 2012 Expo
will showcase and celebrate the Bay Area's diverse community with
offerings that will commence with the first annual "Magnificent 7"
Awards Gala on September 5th in honor of community contributors,
follow by the Bay Area Black Expo (Sept. 7-8) empowerment workshops;
healthy cooking demonstrations with Cuisine Noir Magazine and
celebrity chefs; fitness classes; free eye exams and health
screenings; a Greek fraternity/sorority step show; a powerful
spirit-led Sunday gospel celebration hosted by KDYA's (The Light 1190
AM) Brotha Phi; along with special guest performers and speakers and
scores of exhibits by art & craft, retail, social, corporate, and
healthcare vendors and exhibitors.

The 21st annual Bay Area Black Expo will provide an estimated 10,000+
visitors the opportunity to take pleasure in and benefit from numerous
and varied multi-ethnic experiences including foods, products,
services, education, and entertainment, from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00
p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 8-9, 2010 at the Oakland Convention
Center.

Admittance costs to the highly-anticipated exposition are: $10.00
general admission; $5.00 children, students with ID, and seniors.
