Beautiful San Francisco and San Francisco Bay Backdrop for 34th America's Cup.

San Francisco Filmmaker and LaHitz Media CEO, Jacquie Taliaferro took to the Bay as if tracking down material for a new seafaring film much like  Sydney Poitier's "Long Ships," Alfred Hitchcock's "Lifeboat," John McTiernan's "The Hunt for Red October," Richard Fleischer's "20, 000 Leagues Under the Sea," Wolfgang Petersen's "Das Boot," Lewis Milestone's "Mutiny on the Bounty," or James Cameron's "Abyss" and "Titanic."

San Francisco- The America's Cup World Series could be the second world series in San Francisco within a year's time in that the San Francisco Giants might be in Major League Baseball's World Series.

Giants have more in common with the Bay than McCovey Cove as America's Cup Oracle Team USA's Jimmy Spithill threw out
the first pitch at the Giants vs ATL Braves .

For the first time since San Francisco was awarded host of the 34th America's Cup, racing boats were on the Bay, as the dog days of August were fading. Teams from around the globe, France, Italy, Korea, New Zealand, UK, USA, China and Sweden were all competing.

There are super views of the race from our Marina Green shoreline and specially built grandstands.

An event like this takes major sponsorship and requires partners and collaborators that cut across numerous private, public and nonprofit organizations. America's Cup will bring thousands of spectators from around the world to San Francisco. This will help improve/repair our waterfront that is in very bad shape. Some are projecting that the 34th America's Cup will create more than 8,000 new jobs and $1 billion in economic impact spread throughout the City.

Next races in San Francisco are October 2-7, 2012 with the finals on the Bay, September 7-22, 2013. Let the boats go and the money flow.
