Dr. Joseph Bryant Jr., Director of San Francisco Bay Area Rainbow P.U.S.H Announces "Hands on Banking" Economic Empowerment Series with Wells Fargo Bank

Dr. Joseph Bryant Jr., Director of San Francisco Bay Area Rainbow P.U.S.H., Senior Pastor of Calvary Hill Community Church in San Francisco Bayview Hunter's Point Neighborhood launches 2012 Economic Empowerment Series with Wells Fargo Bank.  Hands on Banking: Financial Education & Literacy starts its second year of service to the community on October 3 at 6:30 p.m.  The public is invited to the free event at Calvary Hill Community Church, 141 Industrial Street (off Bayshore) in San Francisco.

Breed joined State Senator Scott Wiener to announce legislation to combat fencing, the sale of stolen goods on City streets. Authored by Senator Wiener and sponsored by Mayor Breed, Senate Bill 925 (SB 925) would allow San Francisco to create permitting requirements to regulate the sale of items commonly obtained through retail theft and impose criminal penalties for those who engage in this practice.
