Rise of the Guardians: Official Trailer |
It was Mill Valley Film Festival in October that gave us the first taste of "Rise of the Guardians"
at
its premiere. Peter Ramsey, the director, who came on board at
DreamWorks Animation in 2004, was on hand along with DreamWorks
Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg. The high technological advancement of
"Rise of The Guardians" is evident. Some aspects of the film
could
not be produced until the technology caught up with the ideas of the
team. Although the technology is fabulous, the foundation of "Rise of
the Guardians" success is the storytelling of
the film based on William Joyce's The Guardians of Childhood and his short film "The Man in
the Moon."
Ramsey and Katzenberg spoke about the importance of the story at the October 10th debut of film.

"Rise of the Guardians" stars Chris Pine, Alec Baldwin, Hugh Jackman, Isla Fisher and
Jude Law .
Katzenberg says "DreamWorks makes movies for adults and the adult that exists
in
every child." So out and see "Rise of the Guardians" and you don't have
to borrow your neighbor's kids for family camouflage. Singles feel
free to go solo! Enjoy!
As
a sidebar, here's an interesting article about Katzenberg that appeared
in USA Today as he gives career advice at the 14th Annual USA Today CEO
