WHO: Bayview Opera House Ruth Williams Memorial Theater  

WHAT: 9th Annual BVHP Community Tree Lighting & Holiday Festival

WHERE: Bayview Opera House, 4705 Third Street San Francisco

WHEN: Friday, November 30th, 5pm-9pm

NOTES: Ring in the holiday season with the Bayview Opera House at the 9th Annual Bayview Hunters Point Community Tree Lighting & Holiday Market. Enjoy festive food and drink while listening to "live" holiday music performances while shopping from local vendors. Tree Lighting planned for 6:30PM.  Plan to stay and shake your groove thang with The Reed Fromer Band from 7-9PM! We will have a teen dance off, some line dancing ops and if you are a wordsmith, there will be a chance to voice your conscious lyrics, too.  For information on how you can table or vend at this year's community event, contact Rebecca at the BVOH at 415-824-0386rebecca@bvoh.org
 or come by the historic 1888 auditorium to pick up your tabling registration form.  Hope to see YOU there!

Breed joined State Senator Scott Wiener to announce legislation to combat fencing, the sale of stolen goods on City streets. Authored by Senator Wiener and sponsored by Mayor Breed, Senate Bill 925 (SB 925) would allow San Francisco to create permitting requirements to regulate the sale of items commonly obtained through retail theft and impose criminal penalties for those who engage in this practice.
