Harlem Globetrotters & Larry Grant of the 49ers Help Silicon Valley Boys and Girls Club

EVENT:     SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS LARRY GRANT JOINS HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS TO GIVE BACK TO BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS

                 Niners LB trades tricks with Slick Willie Shaw, as Globetrotters donate 49 tickets in Grant's name to local youth

TIME:        Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 6 p.m.
 
PLACE:      Boys and Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley

DETAILS:   Players from two teams looking for victories this weekend will spend time with youth from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley, as Larry Grant of the 49ers trades tricks with Slick Willie Shaw of the Harlem Globetrotters.  Slick will teach Larry and a few lucky kids how to spin a basketball and, perhaps, even how to spin a football.

Slick and the Globetrotters will donate 49 tickets in Larry's name to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley for youth to attend the Globetrotters game at HP Pavilion on Sunday, January 20 at 5:30 p.m.  

The Globetrotters are looking to tally four victories this weekend with two games in Oakland at Oracle Arena on Saturday, Jan. 19 (2 p.m. and 7 p.m.) and two games in San Jose at HP Pavilion on Sunday, Jan. 20 (1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.).  The Globetrotters are the winningest franchise in sports with over 24,000 victories in 87 years.

The 49ers are looking for similar success as they travel to Atlanta for the NFC Championship game against the Falcons on Sunday, Jan. 20 at 12 p.m. Pacific.
