Sacramento- In celebration of Women's History Month Sisters Quilting Collective (SQC) launches its new blog: sistersquiltingcollectivesqc.blogspot.com.

The new blog will provide another tool for SQC to share information, resources, photos and stay connected with the quilting community.

The mission of the SQC is to bring awareness of the historical value of African-American quilts, as well as to celebrate and continue the tradition of quilting.

Breed joined State Senator Scott Wiener to announce legislation to combat fencing, the sale of stolen goods on City streets. Authored by Senator Wiener and sponsored by Mayor Breed, Senate Bill 925 (SB 925) would allow San Francisco to create permitting requirements to regulate the sale of items commonly obtained through retail theft and impose criminal penalties for those who engage in this practice.
