ArtSeed's Earth Day Art-a-thon
Saturday, April 20th, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Thoreau Center for Sustainability, in the Presidio of San Francisco
 
Join the fun to support creative youngsters during ArtSeed's ten-hour art-making marathon. Come any time and stay as long as you wish. Collect pledges of sponsorship for every hour you create art or music to help ArtSeed serve more children. No matter your age or skill level, join us to work on your own projects or take advantage of expert guidance and supplies. Free parking, live music, nifty food, and participation in Skype connections to satellite Earth Day Art-a-thon events throughout the country. Great raffle gifts and prizes will be awarded.

REGISTER ONLINE with Razoo and join the Art-a-thon 2013 team. Please also download the  Art-a-thon Registration Packet PDF (which includes waiver form, pledge sheet and tips for finding sponsors). If you have trouble signing up please contact Trey at  trey@artseed.org or call his cell at 415-794-3456. **If you are under the age of 18, you must get permission from a parent or guardian before joining the Art-a-thon team. A signed waiver may be scanned and emailed to trey@artseed.org or faxed to 415-751-4442.**

Breed joined State Senator Scott Wiener to announce legislation to combat fencing, the sale of stolen goods on City streets. Authored by Senator Wiener and sponsored by Mayor Breed, Senate Bill 925 (SB 925) would allow San Francisco to create permitting requirements to regulate the sale of items commonly obtained through retail theft and impose criminal penalties for those who engage in this practice.
