Flipsyde's "The Piper" Morphs "Cops and Robbers" One Man Show into An Audio Experience, CD and Book, Now Playing at iTunes, Amazon,
and On the Internet Near You

Oakland, CA - May 20, 2014 -Jinho "The Piper" Ferreira of the internationally known musical group "Flipsyde" with his"Cops and Robbers" delivers the goods in more ways than one, in the audio production, book and music CD of his one man play acclaimed "Cops and Robbers" hitting the market Tuesday, May 20, 2014.  "Cops and Robbers The Audio Experience, "Cops and Robbers-The EP" and "Cops and Robbers-The Past, The Present, The Future" is a victorious triumvirate of the talent and experiences of Jinho "The Piper" Ferreira.

Piper joins with David Lopez, his band mate from "Flipsyde" and Arion Salazar, founding member of the band "Third Eye Blind" for the street vibing six songs of"Cops and Robbers- The E.P.," and with his wife Dr. Dawn Williams Ferreira to write the book "Cops and Robbers-The Past, The Present and The Future;" but, as in the play, it's all really something as Piper performs all the characters in the audio version of the play, "Cops and Robbers-The Audio Experience" co-produced with sound engineerReto Peter.

In addition to playing all the roles including "Emma Insti'Gator of "I Start It News," Piper does all the voices in the crowd scenes as well in the innovative work that examines the often dysfunctional relationship between media, law enforcement and the Black community.  "Cops and Robbers-The Audio Experience" hearkens to theater of the mind and Orson Welles' "War of the Worlds" as the "Anna Deavere Smith" of  "Hip Hop" executes his play with precision and passion for a raw street experience in the vortex of good and evil, who's right and who's wrong in split second human choices when the moral compass is shifted or destroyed.
Currently an Alameda County Sheriff Department Officer, Jinho "The Piper" Ferreira of the internationally known musical group "Flipsyde," knows the world of "Cops and Robbers" and has co-authored a book with his wife, educator Dr. Dawn Williams Ferreira, released a new E.P. CD and an audio version of his critically acclaimed play with the goal to bring healing to communities facing violence.

"Piper and Dawn have truly flipped the script for good with this artistic work that will surely bring healing to our communities across the nation, and for that matter the world, for those who choose to listen," said  Larry Batiste
, Grammy Award Nominating Singer/ Producer and Musical Director for the Pre-Grammy Show for more than a decade. "It's amazing to see how Piper's talent has evolved since a chance meeting at my studio that resulted in "Flipsyde" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LH4m5R3iB4) being born.
