SF National Coalition of 100 Black Women's President Dr. Maxine Hickman, inspired by Mayor Brown, is adding $10,000 in new boutique clothing as a Lead Gift to Goodwill's New Year's Eve Donate-A-Thon.

for Grammy Lifetime Membership... 
 
 
 
 
 
Larry Batiste is a producer, vocalist, songwriter, publisher, instrumentalist, and arranger. He is co-owner of Pure Delite Music and has written and published over 250 songs for artists such as Al Jarreau, Patti Austin, Michael Bolton, Whitney Houston, and the Spinners. He has contributed to soundtracks such as The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Stuart Little, and Snow Dogs for Disney. His television show credits include Jag, Nash Bridges, Passions, and All My Children. Larry is also a former Chapter President, Trustee and current governor of the San Francisco Chapter of The Recording Academy, producers of the Grammy Awards.
 
 
As Musical Director for the Grammys, Larry surveys his work with Trombone Shorty, Ledosi, Dave Koz Lelah Hathaway, and others.

Breed joined State Senator Scott Wiener to announce legislation to combat fencing, the sale of stolen goods on City streets. Authored by Senator Wiener and sponsored by Mayor Breed, Senate Bill 925 (SB 925) would allow San Francisco to create permitting requirements to regulate the sale of items commonly obtained through retail theft and impose criminal penalties for those who engage in this practice.
