California Camp Fire The California Camp Fire erupted last week in the drought-parched Sierra foothills 175 miles north of San Francisco and now ranks as one of the most lethal single U.S. wildfires since the turn of the last century. There are 63 people who have been confirmed dead and around 600 people remain missing.  Requests for short-term rentals for families who lost their homes in Butte County are flowing in to Compass and other real estate brokerages; if you have furnished space to share, let me know--no matter how small--specifically north and east of the Bay Area.
