Cherish Call to Help Camp Fire Survivors
November 17, 2018

Note from Jackie Wright:

From the reality of real estate: Thanks to Cherish Hope McClure for reaching out to help find homes for those affected by the "Camp Fire!"   Oh, for another name because "camp fire" is so embedded in Americana that it brings up images of girl and boy scouts roasting marshmallows, families frying up their fresh fish from the nearby river, sitting under the stars singing folk songs, or scenes from Raoul Walsh, John Ford, or a Sam Pechinpah Western Film.  What a cruel tormenting twist, "this "Camp Fire" is devilish, only "steals, kills and destroys.  McClure offers solutions and updates in this e-newsletter. Cherish the hope. Read It and Help!

California Camp Fire

The California Camp Fire erupted last week in the drought-parched Sierra foothills 175 miles north of San Francisco and now ranks as one of the most lethal single U.S. wildfires since the turn of the last century. There are 63 people who have been confirmed dead and around 600 people remain missing.

Requests for short-term rentals for families who lost their homes in Butte County are flowing in to Compass and other real estate brokerages; if you have furnished space to share, let me know--no matter how small--specifically north and east of the Bay Area. Is your second home in Russian River, Sonoma, Napa, or Tahoe empty right now? Let's connect : (415-676-7896)
