It is my honor to invite you to attend my inauguration as Mayor of the City and County of San Francisco.

The ceremony is standing room only and space is extremely limited, so kindly RSVP to inaugural@sfgov.org. All visitors to City Hall must go through security - no boxes, large bags, posters, signs, flags, umbrellas, gifts, food, or beverages other than water will be allowed. Cameras are permitted. This event is free and open to the public.

Breed joined State Senator Scott Wiener to announce legislation to combat fencing, the sale of stolen goods on City streets. Authored by Senator Wiener and sponsored by Mayor Breed, Senate Bill 925 (SB 925) would allow San Francisco to create permitting requirements to regulate the sale of items commonly obtained through retail theft and impose criminal penalties for those who engage in this practice.
