UCSF Wayne and Gladys Valley Center for Vision 
Construction Update for March

Dear Neighbors,

March's construction activity for the Wayne and Gladys Valley Center for Vision will be focused on landscaping, and exterior and interior finishing work.

•   Interior buildout of the café on the west side of the building is underway.

•   Medical equipment and furniture installations continues.

•   Underground utilities and security systems are undergoing fine tuning. 

•   Construction of the driveway/patient drop-off on Illinois Street is scheduled
    for March completion .

•   Landscape activity continues around the building with the installation   
    of irrigation, storm drains and site lighting.

•   Activity to build a surface parking lot on Block 34 is scheduled for completion
    in April.

•   Coordination continues with other non-UCSF project work on Illinois Street,        3rd and 16th Streets.

7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Noisy Hours:
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Authored by Senator Wiener and sponsored by Mayor Breed, Senate Bill 925 (SB 925) would allow San Francisco to create permitting requirements to regulate the sale of items commonly obtained through retail theft and impose criminal penalties for those who engage in this practice.
