Utah's Sen. Mitt Romney is the only Republican senator who was not invited to serve on the president's newly announced advisory board on COVID-19 and how to open up this country for business again in the midst of COVID-19, according to USA TODAY.
Sen. Romney was the sole Republican senator who voted to impeach the president during the Impeachment Trial.
Sen. Romney, before casting his vote, stated that his decision was based on his personal conscience, his strong faith and belief in God, his allegiance to the Constitution and his country, and the solemn oath he took when he became a Senator.
The president's action to shun and exclude Sen. Romney is most unfortunate, both for the people of Utah and for the people of the United States.
What do the people of Utah, whom Sen. Romney represents, think about the White House's shunning and exclusion of Sen. Romney?
Sen. Romney would bring his vast experience in the field of business to such an advisory board.
Much more importantly, Sen. Romney would bring his exemplary leadership skills and his personal integrity.
