Join Oakland Private Industry Council for its inaugural virtual "Conversations with CEO Raymond Lankford" and industry leaders to discuss and explore local workforce talent needs and its forecast in Oakland and beyond. 

OPIC has set an ambitious goal to uplift our community and meet its challenge to prepare Oaklanders for 30k jobs by 2025.

Breed joined State Senator Scott Wiener to announce legislation to combat fencing, the sale of stolen goods on City streets. Authored by Senator Wiener and sponsored by Mayor Breed, Senate Bill 925 (SB 925) would allow San Francisco to create permitting requirements to regulate the sale of items commonly obtained through retail theft and impose criminal penalties for those who engage in this practice.
