Congratulations to Tanisha Nicole Cyprian, an inaugural member of The Doris Ward National Coalition of 100 Black Women Inc. San Francisco Chapter OWED (San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development) Program, created and developed by Jackie Wright, CEO of Wright Enterprises.
"Ms. Cyprian's on-going accomplishments including running for school board and now incorporating a new form of marketing for her company as she cultivates her business which she actually had when she enrolled with our program, is testament to the importance of investing in people," said Jackie Wright, former Program Director, Creator and Developer of the Doris Ward National Coalition of 100 Black Women Inc. San Francisco Chapter OWED Program. "It is rewarding to see Ms. Cyprian continue to follow her dreams and to know that the twelve week program that provided more than a fair wage for underserved women to learn and improve their lives being paid $2,000 a month for three months to focus on learning while not worrying about childcare, electricity of BART transportation etc., sparked her and others to be uplifted. This is just one encouraging example as a result of the City of San Francisco's investment in community. Mayor London Breed's visionary "Dream Keepers Initiative" under the leadership of Human Rights Commission Executive Director, Dr. Sheryl Davis made the workforce development program possible."
