Just months after experiencing the near death of his daughter in a DUI caused accident, Stanley Wright with his wife of 29 years Viola Barnes Wright are so pleased that 19 year old Alliyah will be able to join the family as it reburies Viet Nam War Hero, Sp5 Wyley Wright along with his wife Ouida Fay McLendon Wright on March 10, 2014, fifty years after the death of Wyley Wright and 44 years after Mrs. Wright's death. They both died Monday, March 9 in 1964 and 1970 respectively. Wright and his three siblings began their campaign to move their father from a segregated cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida after a family reunion, July 4, 2012.

On Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 4pm, East Bay clergy will gather at Allen Temple Baptist Church located at 8501 International Blvd. in Oakland, CA to participate in the Congressional Black Caucus’s(CBC) first annual National Day of Prayer to End Poverty and Income Inequality. Earlier that day, Members of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) and interfaith leaders from around the country will gather on the Capitol Hill East Lawn for the first national CBC Day of Prayer to End Poverty and Income Inequality.
