"Love Separated in Life...Love Reunited in Honor" is a short documentary by directors Jackie Wright and Jack LiVolsi that tells the story of love, war, forgiveness, racial reconciliation, and hope. "My father was born in Jacksonville. Due to his death at 32 years on March 9, 1964 early in the Vietnam War and his being an Honor Guard for then Secretary of Defense Robert S. McNamara on my Dad's last of more than 300 missions, I saw news articles in the Florida Times Union and The Florida Star, the local Black newspaper. More than 50 years later, I am thrilled the Jacksonville International Film Festival is including his story," said Jackie Wright, President of Wright Enterprises.
