The national nonprofit, African American Tobacco Control Leadership Council, takes its important and life-saving presentation "What Does Menthol Have to Do with It? Everything! Tobacco and Social Injustice" on the road to Austin, Texas, March 23, 2017. Experts from AATCLC will present in the afternoon at the National Conference on Tobacco or Health and will also host a soiree for media and invited guests in the evening to share information about the devastating effect mentholated cigarettes have had on the African American community. AATCLC has documentation about the Tobacco industry targeting and profiling African Americans to consume the deadly products that result in 45,000 deaths among African Americans.

His wife founder of the Mazisi Kunene Foundation, dedicated to his work of preserving the Zulu language, Mrs. Mathabo Kunene, who was recently feted in San Francisco and Los Angeles will take part in the festival.
