Barbara Rodgers Invites You to the Walk of Faith With her in August.
For nearly 30 years, Barbara Rodgers was one of the most recognizable newscasters on CBS 5 Eyewitness News. She started at the station in 1979 and quickly became a popular, award-winning anchor, reporter and show host. Before leaving CBS 5 in 2008, she was co-anchor of Eyewitness News at Noon and host of Bay Sunday, a weekly public affairs program where she interviewed dozens of newsmakers, community leaders and celebrities.
Special Thanks to Barbara Rodgers for her recent support of the San Francisco Black Film Festival founded by Ave Montague and now directed by Ave's son, Kali O'Ray and his wife, Katerra Crossley. BABJA, founded by Rodgers, the Bay Area Black Journalist Association was instrumental in the coverage of SFBFF 14 which had an opening night screening of Robert Townsend's "In the Hive" at the historic Lorraine Hansberry Theatre.

The San Francisco Black Film Festival founded by Arts Impresario Ave Montague continues with leadership of her son and daughter, Kali O'Ray and Katerra Crossley. San Francisco Black Film Festival 14 is a wrap and the co-directors send out a thank you and update of comings and goings around the film festival that is dedicated to be a platform for established and emerging artists, a place for creativity, inspiration and a catalyst for tourism as filmmakers from as far as South Africa and London attended the festival.
