White House Interns dedicate their time, talents, energy, and service to better the White House, the community, and the nation. They become a part of the White House team, and the assignments given to an intern on any given day could include conducting research, managing incoming inquiries, attending meetings, writing memos, and staffing events.

The historic Lorraine Hansberry Theater presents a powerful, controversial, new play Blue/Orange directed by Edris Cooper-Anifowoshe and featuring nationally known actor Carl Lumbly.The play raises questions of who is right, who is wrong? Who is sane, who is crazy? In a London psychiatric hospital, an enigmatic patient claims to be the son of an African dictator - a story that becomes more and more unnervingly plausible as the action progresses. Blue/Orange is an incendiary tale of race, madness and power. Dr. Brenda says It's "A Must See!"
