Jackie Wright of Wright Enterprises comments on the report "State of the African American Consumer" from Nielsen in collaboration with the National Newspaper Publishers' Association. Bottom line of the report, if you're not doing business with Black America, you're missing out on doing business with a force that is equivalent to being 16th largest country in the world.

Californians of Color have announced their endorsement of the California Cancer Research Act. If passed by voters, the CCRA will add $1.00 to each pack of cigarettes sold in California and generate over $855 million in its first year. It would provide more than $500 million a year to find new ways to detect, treat, prevent, and cure cancer and other tobacco-related illnesses. It would also provide over $156 million dollars for California's underfunded tobacco control and prevention program. Read More.
