Today, Saturday, November 24th, condolences are extended to the family and friends of Kim Porter of Columbus, Georgia, as the Wright and Tibbs families prepare for funeral services of their much loved Brenda M. Wright, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and retired Caltrans worker in the San Francisco Bay Area, who returned to Georgia to care for her elderly father. After more than five years of care, He is now grieving his daughter's demise with her husband Joe N. Wright, U.S. Army Veteran and former employee of MV Transportation, who assisted her in the care of U.S. Army Veteran Bruce Tibbs Sr., "Pop Tibbs." Obsequies for Mrs. Wright to be officiated by the Right Reverend Maurice Edwards, will be held, Friday, November 30, 2018 at Sconiers Funeral Home with burial at Fort Mitchell, Alabama National Cemetery and a repass will follow at Columbus Baptist Association.
